Who We Are
For nearly 40 years, Bev Jones has served as a coach or mentor to people seeking to advance their careers. Since 2003, when she began full-time coaching and consulting, Bev has worked with hundreds of clients, in a wide variety of fields and situations. Bev’s clients have ranged from leaders at large institutions to individual professionals just starting out or seeking to dramatically change their careers. For larger projects Bev works in partnership with several other highly qualified consultants, including those described below.

Bev's Bio
Beverly Jones works with corporate and institutional leaders to bring new productivity to their organizations and helps professionals restructure and energize their work lives. While a senior corporate executive and practicing attorney Bev was extensively engaged in leadership and change management activities. Since 2003 she has developed a respected coaching and consulting practice guiding accomplished professionals in making themselves and their organizations more effective.

Bev’s broad client base includes the Federal Reserve Board and Los Alamos National Lab, the Organization of American States and the NAS Institute of Medicine. She also works with attorneys, senior brokers, academic leaders, architects and other private sector professionals. Bev is presently Senior Fellow and Strategic Coach for the Voinovich School of Leadership and Public Affairs at Ohio University.

She was special counsel to the law firm Adams & Reese, LLP from 2000 to 2003. From1987 to 2000, she was Vice President of External Affairs and Policy of Consolidated Natural Gas Company, a Fortune 300 energy and utility company. During her 13 years at CNG, her broad management portfolio included government affairs, the CNG Foundation, and public outreach. Among other Washington initiatives, she led the natural gas industry’s effort to promote small-scale power generation and alternative fuel vehicles. In addition to testifying before Congressional committees, federal agencies, and state legislatures and commissions, she was engaged in strategic planning and corporate restructuring projects.

Before joining CNG, Bev was a partner and department chairman at the law firm Wickwire, Gavin and Gibbs, PC. She began her legal career in the Market Regulation Division of the Securities and Exchange Commission. Before law school, Bev was Assistant to the President at Ohio University, where she created the affirmative action program and other initiatives to foster diversity and encourage the development of leaders.

In addition to reading broadly, Bev relaxes with gardening, yoga, meditation and long country walks with husband, newspaper journalist Andy Alexander, and their two dogs.
